Why Invest in Land?
A good question…….”why invest in land” when so many investment opportunities are available……why not shares…..yes stock market is booming, why not mutual funds, mid-caps, the list is never-ending.

This was my thinking a few days back till I read an article about land investments & how this option is booming in European countries especially UK, & why not, if I remember few stats…..over 20% of the UK’s top 100 richest people are land owners or related with property development. Also, over past few years land prices have seen an overwhelming increase in UK. The average price in England and Wales in 2004 was #187.900 which increased to #203.985 in 2005.

Isn’t it unbelievable? Today land investment in UK is in-fact a strategic investment option and investors are seeking well established investment companies that provide well suited land investment options.

So this all was about money……its multiplying, what about tax exemptions, leasing options, utility of buying undeveloped land etc. I consulted my friend, in-fact land investors can avail tax redemption benefit up to certain extent, and also, by leasing the property I can enjoy a good return on yearly or monthly basis.

So friends what do you all think……”why invest in land”…..as part of a tangible form of investment with high returns or opt for stocks & equity……..intangible form…where I can just listen about volatile exponential growth with no tangible feeling……..think!!!!!!!
